"Egypt will continue its Islamic secularism and continue to receive economic foreign aid crumbs from the United States and the United Kingdom after Mubarak is long gone. The region is of strategic and vital importance to Western European nations. They are not really concern about Arabs killing Arabs this is the least of their worries; however, the Suez Canal is one of the most vital ports for international commerce and trade, as well as giving United States and Israeli Warships quick and easy access to points in the Middle East and points in Africa and routes to the Indian Ocean. But the most important commodity is the millions of tons of Middle East oil, which is allowed to pass through Egyptian maritime ports.
James M. Day in his book titled: "What Every American Should Know About the Middle East and Oil" stated: "Although not an OPEC member, Egypt is an important factor in the oil world and Mid East. Not only is it an oil exporter, it controls the Suez Canal, a vital oil tanker route. . .The completion of the Suez Canal by Ferdinand de Lesseps in 1869 was the biggest thing to hit Egypt since the invention of the pyramids. Unfortunately, construction costs and fraudulent bookkeeping by the French-managed canal company and European bankers bankrupted Egypt. In 1875 Queen Victoria bought 44% of the stock in the Suez Canal for the British Government so its ships were guaranteed the short cut between England and India.” (Reference: James M. Day; "What Every American Should Know About the Middle East and Oil”; p. 11). Thus, the outcome of Egypt's turmoil will not change the standard of living for the Egyptian people nor alter the political, economic and social condition of the 85%—they are being used only as canon fodder and when the smoke clears and the dust settles, they will still be under the control of another ruthless monarch (and there still will be no equal redistribution of the wealth upon the ousting of President Hosni Mubarak).
Mubarak and his families and cronies have stolen billion of dollars from the Egyptian people with the majority of the money being housed in European, Swiss and U.S. Banks. These hypocrites (referred to in Arabic as munaafiq or kuffar) consistently violates Islamic Sharia by imposing and receiving interest on their money and lending interest based money (economic and financial usury) which goes against the teachings of the Qur'an. They are in bed with Shaitan (Satan), Mubarak has accumulated (stolen) more personal wealth than Bill Gates founder of Microsoft. He is a billionaire and yet the Egyptian people are poor and oppressed. President Barack Obama for days during the initial stages of the crisis in Egypt did not utter one word against Mubarak because he was under strict instructions not to repudiate this CIA agent provocateur."
